Static electricity is generated when a charge builds up as two objects come into contact with another. The charge that results from this contact can produce enough voltage to release a spark. As is the case with lighting, a significant build up of static electricity can result in an explosive release of energy.

It’s our conviction at Static Student Ministries, that when students encounter Jesus – his LOVE, his TRUTH, and his PURPOSE for their lives – it, too, will ignite a spark. At Static, we exist to help students experience this spark. We exist to give students an opportunity to come into contact with the God that created them and loves them. The result? An explosive release of energy in a generation that can change our world.

Static Student Ministries is the Youth Group for Warner Robins First Assembly of God. We are led by Pastor Gabe Cox, who felt God’s call to respond to the Position of Youth Pastor in June 2009. Gabe graduated from Southeastern University with a degree in Pastoral Ministries. He is joined by his wife Jessica and their beautiful daughter Addie Kate. Gabe’s wife graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Child and Family Development. Gabe’s heart for youth ministry is to communicate the whole gospel in an effective and creative message without compromising the message of Christ.
